Mullewa Muster & Rodeo

On the Saturday of the West Australia Day long-weekend (late May or early June)
The Mullewa Muster & Rodeo is an all ages licensed event attracting over 3,000 visitors. The event consists of a Full Points & Prize Money Rodeo, a Beaut Ute Competition, a Whip Crackin’ Competition and a Country Music Concert.
There are interactive workshops, stalls with information, giftware, western apparel, and a wide variety of food & refreshments on site.
Since 2012, the Mullewa Muster & Rodeo has been a genuine celebration of country life, bringing together the best of the bush with a full day of rodeo action, live country music, and family-friendly fun. What started as a local get-together has grown into one of Western Australia’s must-attend events, drawing crowds from all over the country to experience the true spirit of rural Australia.
Camping is available at the Polocrosse grounds for a fee.



Outback Bloom – Mullewa’s Wildflower Festival

The Town Hall transforms into a vibrant display of wildflower specimens and natural bushland scenes, offering a fantastic opportunity to explore and learn about the diverse range of unique and stunning flowers. Mullewa Agricultural Show

Held on the last Saturday in August, Mullewa Show is the best value Agricultural Show in the Midwest. Featuring the Mullewa Gift, Mullewa Quick Shear Competition, Pavilion Exhibits, Side Show Alley, Market Stalls, Fireworks and more.


Australia Day
Mullewa celebrates Australia Day with a welcoming community morning at the town swimming pool, featuring a delicious breakfast, activities for all ages, and the presentation of the community’s Active Citizenship Awards. It’s a wonderful opportunity to come together, celebrate local achievements, and enjoy a fun-filled morning with family and friends.
ANZAC Day
Join us in commemorating ANZAC Day. The morning begins with a free community breakfast at the Lesser Town Hall, followed by a march from the District Office to the Town War Memorial next to the Town Hall, where a commemorative ceremony will be held. Morning tea will be shared afterwards as an opportunity for the community to come together in reflection and remembrance.
